A retired teacher and educational author will lead the Upper Canada District School Board in the coming term. Trustee Jeff McMillan, a longtime elementary teacher with the board, was acclaimed to the role during the inaugural meeting Wednesday night for the new session. McMillan, who won the position as a rookie trustee four years ago against former chair Greg Pietersma, said he was honoured to earn the role uncontested.
