December 2nd, 2014 is known as Giving Tuesday. After the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we are encouraged to launch the season of giving today with a donation to our charity of choice. Locally we have World Hope Canada, Big Sky Ranch, The Salvation Army, the North Grenville Community Services Council and many, many more. Ryan’s Well Foundation Board Chair Shawn McCarthy says it’s a great opportunity to improve the lives of others, and it doesn’t have to cost you anything.

On Giving Tuesday, we all need to do our part to make the holiday season a pleasant one for those in need in our community. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Mountain of Toys at Royal LePage Real Estate, drop some coin into the Salvation Army kettle or put some healthy, non-perishable food in the foodbank bin at your local grocery store.
