The Ministry of Ag and Food has stepped up with a $2 million dollar cash infusion that will allow Kemptville Campus to accept new students in the fall. The ten programs include nine existing and one new, all in the skilled trades. Sources say they are one-year programs, ending in the spring of 2015. Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities Brad Duguid was on campus this morning to deliver the news. He said it’s the first step that buys time for a transition to a new future for Kemptville College, one that may or may not include the University of Guelph.
