23-year-old Tausif Chowdhury was the man found dead behind the South Keys Malls on November 27th. The grisly discovery was made by cyclists using the path between the mall and the OC Transpo station around 7 o’clock Thursday morning.
Sources say there was obvious trauma to the body and a hammer was found nearby, which may or may not have been a weapon. The suspicious death is being treated as a homicide. Chowdhury’s family do not live in Canada but they have been notified of his death. Originally from Bangladesh, he was a student at Carleton University.
