Health Unit recommends ways to stay active while at home

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit has recommended some ways to keep moving if you’re self-isolating and well enough to be physically active.

They suggest having a dance party, even if you’re by yourself, walk on your own property or walk on the spot. If you have to take a phone call you can walk around instead of sitting down.

The Health Unit also suggests taking advantage of online workouts, with many of them free right now including the YMCA at Home program. The YMCA is currently closed but the online program offers activities for all levels and ages.
