The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is reporting 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19, as of 2:30pm today.
The first case in the region was made public on Thursday morning. The Health Unit announced 14 more cases yesterday, including an outbreak at a long-term care facility in Almonte.
The five new cases include one healthcare worker at Country Haven, one person in hospital and three people isolating at home.
