Police have made a grisly discovery near Winchester. Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP are investigating human remains that were found on the evening of Thursday, April 17th. The remains were found on Steen Road near Thompson Road, close to Winchester. Preliminary investigation confirms the remains are human but the identity of the deceased and the cause of death will need to be determined. A post mortem will be conducted in Oshawa tomorrow.
