One person is facing charges after a search warrant was executed on Blair Road in Edwardsburgh Township. Members of the OPP Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit raided the property yesterday.Â
Police seized explosives and detonators, a quantity of suspected cocaine, packaging material, digital scale and stolen Sidewinder boat.
A 21-year-old Edwardsburgh resident is charged with unauthorized possession of explosive substance, possession of controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.Â
The accused is scheduled to appear at Brockville Court at a later date.Â
