Nine stunt drivers caught in three days

Leeds County OPP officers have been busy taking stunt drivers off the road. A total of nine people were stopped for excessive speeding in just three days on Highway 401, between Brockville and Gananoque.
Traffic enforcement was conducted between Friday and Sunday, with speeds ranging from 152 to 174 kilometers per hour in the posted 100-kilometer zone.
The nine drivers were mostly in their ‘20s, with the youngest being 19 and oldest 39. They all had their driver’s licences suspended and vehicles impounded.
