Rideau Crossing Family Health Care is cancelling all non-essential visits, services and is only scheduling appointments over the phone.
Effective immediately, all clinic appointments will turn into telephone appointments. Your provider will call you within 45 minutes before or after your appointment time. Make sure your correct phone number is on file. If you have call display, the call may be a private number.
If you’re running out of medication, call Rideau Crossing and they will provide renewals or the physician will call you to follow up. You can ask your pharmacist to give you an additional amount and if they are unwilling to do that, ask them to fax the clinic. If you still need to see a healthcare professional, call the office to schedule.
Portal appointments are temporarily unavailable.
If you have a cough or fever, call the clinic or Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000. Do not go to the clinic or go to the emergency department.
If you are experiencing shortness of breath, go directly to the emergency department, if you are sick follow the protocol of self-isolation for 14 days.
The doors will be locked at the clinic and directions will be posted to call the clinic. If you have an appointment, you will be screened when you arrive. Have your health card ready and attend your appointment alone unless you require assistance or are accompanying a minor. Rideau Crossing says you will be given a surgical mask if you need one pending on supply availability, try and stay two metres away from other people and do not touch any surfaces.
They say Amplifon and Bioped will temporarily cease appointments at this location you can contact them directly for more information.
Dynacare services are also temporarily cancelled at this location only. You can go to the location beside the Kemptville Hospital.
Rideau Crossing adds appointments for childhood immunizations will continue and be scheduled when the clinic is empty so that they can ensure the health of patients.
