Author and former Somalian hostage Amanda Lindhout to speak at 30th Anniversary gala for Cornerstone Housing for Women

Amanda Lindhout is a Canadian journalist who was held hostage in Somalia and lived to tell about it. Her award-winning book “House in the Sky” will soon be a major motion picture. This week, Lindhout is speaking at the 30th anniversary celebration of Cornerstone Housing for Women. Resource Development Manager Connie Franklin talks about their services:

After being held hostage for fifteen months, Lindhout turned the experience into something positive. Franklin explains:
