The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) and Government of Ontario struck a tentative deal. The announcement was made yesterday.
The OECTA says details of the agreement will remain confidential pending ratification. The next step is for the union’s executive team and local unit presidents to recommend approval, followed by a province-wide vote on April 7 and 8.
All OECTA strike action is suspended, effective immediately.
