At a retirement reception following the Committee of the Whole meeting Monday night, friends, family and associates of Councillors Ken Finnerty and Terry Butler gathered to say congratulations. Butler is retiring from North Grenville Municipal Council this month after 11 years. Finnerty has been part of municipal council for more than a quarter century.

The new council is sworn in at 1pm on Monday, December 1st and members of the public are welcome to attend.
