Screening of film "White Water, Black Gold" in Kemptville November 17th

On Monday night, Sustainable North Grenville will host a screening of the documentary “White Water, Black Gold.” The film follows an imaginary drop of water, and later an imaginary drop of oil, unveiling the threats the tar sands pose to the third largest watershed in the world and two separate oceans.

The film is relevant as Energy East has proposed a pipeline across the Rideau River at North Grenville. A discussion will follow the film.

The movie will be shown at The Branch Restaurant on Clothier Street on November 17th. Entry is a suggested donation of $2 and doors open at 6:30pm.
