Radiothon to bring in money for Salvation Army

97.5 Juice FM is hosting a Radiothon in support of the Kemptville Salvation Army. The event runs from 6:00am to 6:00pm on Friday. Every dollar will go to the charity.

The radiothon brought in over $13,600 last year.

Salvation Army Director Erin Wong says the funds will go towards purchasing fresh food for the food bank, including bread, milk and butter.

Wong noted it’s heartwarming to see so many different people get involved to do good together. She explained the radiothon gives people hope who need it at Christmas time. Wong says so many people are struggling and need to know others are there for them during the holidays.

People can donate by dropping by the station at 4 Industrial Road, Unit 3 or by calling 613-258-0467.
