The Beth Donovan Hospice is launching a new fundraising event. A Carol for Hospice is set for December 7 at Parish Hall on the Kemptville Campus. Doors open at 5:30pm.
Tickets are $25, with all proceeds going to hospice programs.
Executive Director Sue Walker says the event will feature a dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol by local personalities and actors. She noted there will also be an old fashioned Christmas market, with traditional baking, preserves and crafts.
Hors d’oeuvres, supplied by Catered Affairs, will be served before and during intermission.
Walker explained people will also have a chance to win Christmas trees decorated by local businesses. She says you can buy tickets for the tree you want and winners will be announced at the event.
