Hold on to your cookies – Santa Claus is coming to town!
The Old Town Kemptville Christmas is set for Saturday, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Downtown businesses are sponsoring a wide variety of free events.
BIA Executive Director Deron Johnston says there will be something for everyone. He noted horse drawn wagon rides, S’mores, hot chocolate and face painting are all on the docket. Jonhston explained Santa will be making an appearance at Exit Realty By Design and kids will get the chance to write him a letter and deliver it in person. Â
The event also includes an Elf on The Shelf promotion. Johnston says you can pick up a copy of the elf map at To Be Continued Consignment Shop, the North Grenville Public Library and Exit Realty. He noted people can find the elves, write down what they are doing at different locations, and submit their cards for a chance to win a prize package from Kemptville Suites.Â
