Winchester man arrested for public drunkenness, resisting arrest

A 56-year-old North Dundas man is facing charges after an incident in Winchester on the weekend. Just before 4pm on Sunday, November 9th, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP received a report of an intoxicated man on Main Street in Winchester. A review of records showed the man was in breach of several conditions imposed after previous incidents. As police arrested the man, he became aggressive and resisted officers. James Williams is charged with 5 counts of failure to comply with conditions, and resisting a peace officer.
