A 30-year-old North Dundas woman has been arrested and charged with spousal assault after an incident in Morewood on the weekend. On Sunday, November 9th just before 11:30pm Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP officers were called to a domestic situation at a residence on Moffatt Street. Investigation showed an exchange of words between a woman and her spouse had escalated and resulted in the man being assaulted. The accused was released from custody and appears in Cornwall court November 25th.
