Update from Royal LePage OVCA Women's Fall Classic in Kemptville

On Saturday, the final five teams were determined to fill the eight qualifying positions for Championship Sunday at the Royal LePage OVCA Women’s Fall Classic at the North Grenville Curling Club in Kemptville . Qualifying out of the B-Event are Ottawa’s Danielle Inglis, Thornhills’ Julie Hastings and the Carleton University Ladies team skipped by Breanne Meakin. The final two qualifiers from the C-Event are Nova Scotia’s Theresa Breen, formerly from Ottawa, and Quebec’s Kimberly Mastine. They join A-Event qualifiers, Ottawa’s Erin Morrissey, Mississauga’s Cathy Auld and Quebec’s Lauren Mann. Mann is a former member of the North Grenville Curling Club.

The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and Championship games will be played today at 9:00, 12:30 and 3:30. So get out to Kemptville to see some excellent women’s curling. For complete results of Saturday’s action visit the OVCA Women’s Fall Classic website.
