Curling Update: Royal LePage OVCA Women's Fall Classic in Kemptville

Three teams skipped by Ottawa’s Erin Morrissey, Missassauga’s Cathy Auld and former North Grenville Curling Club member Lauren Mann are the first three teams to qualify for Championship Sunday at the the Royal LePage OVCA Women’s Fall Classic at the North Grenville Curling Club in Kemptville.

Morrissey defeated the Carleton University Girls skipped by Breanne Meakin 7-2, Auld beat Ottawa’s Danielle Inglis 6-5 and Mann won 8-5 over London’s Chrissy Cadorin.

Three more teams will qualify for Championship Sunday out of the B-Event this morning. At 9:00 am Danille Inglis will play Newfoundland’s Marie Christianson and Cadorin will play Thornhills Julie Hastings. At 11:30 am Breanne Meakin will go up against Quebec’s Kimberly Mastine. .

The final two qualifying teams will be determine following the 7:00 pm games tonight.

On Sunday the Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and the Championship games will be played at 9:00 am 12.30 and 3:30, respectively. For complete results of Friday’s action visit the OVCA Women’s Fall Classic website.
