Kemptville family of four loses home to fire

A family of four is homeless after fire took their bungalow on Clothier Street East in Kemptville November 4th. North Grenville Fire Services reports the call came in from a neighbor just after 11pm, reporting smoke coming from a street lamp. The next call corrected the information, saying the fire was actually in a house but fire crews were already en route. By the time they arrived on scene, Captain Randy Urslak reports, the home was fully engulfed. No one was home at the time of the fire, and no people or pets were injured. The fire is still under investigation as to the cause and extent of damages.
A fund has been set up online by Mona Blain, sister to Patricia Flanagan who lost her home, and aunt to 17 year old Quinn and 15 year old Seth who will now be in need of clothing and basic necessities of life. For more info, visit the link below:
