Public Information Session on Energy East Pipeline Nov. 18 in North Grenville

TransCanada’s Energy East Pipeline has filed their application with the Ontario Energy Board. They are now repeating their public information sessions in communities along the proposed pipeline path. Earlier this year, Maude Barlow of the Council of Canadians spoke to JuiceFM regarding her concerns about the pipeline and the potential risk that the diluted bitumen poses to our environmental safety. That interview is available at the link below.

TransCanada will be back in town on Tuesday, November 18th from 4 to 8pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre to answer questions from the public.
More information on the proposed project, including the path that it would take, can be found at www.energyeastpipeline.com.
