Grenville County OPP investigate residential B&E, vehicle break-ins and convenience store hold-up

Tools stolen
Grenville County OPP are investigating a B&E in Prescott. On Tuesday, October 28th police were called to a residence on Centre Street. The occupants reported numerous power tools stolen from a property under renovation. Taken were a Bostitch Power Nailer, Campbell Hausfeld Power Nailer, a planer and several hand tools. If you have any information on this incident, call police.

Vehicle break-ins

Police are investigating a number of car break-ins that happened late last week. Sometime overnight between October 29th and 30th more than 20 cars were reported broken into, and cash stolen. The break-ins happened on County Road 18 in Augusta Township, Domville, County Road 21 in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, Spencerville and McCully Road. Anyone with info is asked to contact police.

Convenience store robbery

Grenville County OPP are looking for the man who robbed a Mac’s Convenience store in Prescott early Sunday morning. Just before 2am on November 2nd a man entered the store at 108 Park Street, demanding money and cigarettes. The lone employee handed over a small amount of cash and cigarettes and the suspect fled on foot, north on Edward Street. The robbery suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’10” with a slim build and shoulder length hair. He was wearing a full dark colored balaclava, dark gloves, a tight fitting dark colored shirt and black jeans without a belt.No weapons were observed, and no one was hurt in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
