Today (Nov. 3) is the opening day of the deer hunt in our region. This means that there will be many hunters travelling the back road and rural areas in the coming weeks. It is important for hunters to be prepared and keep safety in mind when venturing out for the day. If you are out for a walk, stick to the roadways and if you have to go into the woods it is advisable to wear bright hunter orange.
