The Ebola virus seems very far from home but the Kemptville District Hospital is fully prepared for an emergency, just in case. The KDH infection control staff undergo regular training that includes preparation for a disease outbreak such as Ebola. The hospital is equipped with masks and specialized equipment to help them treat patients and stop the virus from spreading to others – but hopefully they will never have to use it.
