Over 75% of North Grenville voters used online or telephone methods

The Municipality of North Grenville has released the official stats from Election Day. Of 11,849 eligible voters, 4953 voted. 3723 of those (75.2%) cast their votes by Internet or phone. 1230 (24.8%) voted the traditional way, by paper ballot. This brings the participation rate overall to 41.8%, down from 47.1% in 2010 but up from 2006, when just over
39% voted.
