MPP Clark calls for Premier Wynne's commitment to Kemptville College

In Question Period Monday, Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark called on the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities to confirm a first-year class will be starting at Kemptville College this September. Clark’s comments come after Premier Kathleen Wynne, on provincewide radio Sunday, gave the strongest indication yet that a new class will be coming to Kemptville this fall – something Clark has called for since the University of Guelph announced plans to shut down its campuses in Kemptville and Alfred last month. Clark also pressed Duguid for details about what steps his ministry is taking to maintain the assets at the campus – particularly in the million-dollar Dairy Education and Innovation Centre.
