The office of Leeds Grenville MP Gord Brown contacted JuiceFM this morning to let us know the eighth annual Hockey Night in Leeds-Grenville in support of the United Way will happen as planned tonight, in Cardinal.
Featuring former NHL stars, Members of Parliament, Senators, and local dignitaries, the event has raised close to half-a-million dollars for the charity over the past seven years. NHL stars joining MP Brown on the ice this year include: Tony McKegney, Chris Valentine, Shaun Van Allen, Brad Marsh, Rick Smith, Shawn Rivers and Ron Tugnutt. Puck drops at 7pm at the Ingredion Centre.
