The Kemptville District Hospital Foundation is starting a new club. The Women’s Health Club is set to launch in April. People can join by making an annual donation of $100 to the Foundation.
Membership comes with a Women’s Health Club shirt, annual Women’s Health Club reception hosted by Foundation Vice-Chair Margret Norenberg, free education seminars on specific topics determined by the group and VIP invitation to all Foundation special events.
Executive Director Joanne Mavis says the seminars will be beneficial. She says the events will be opportunities for women to get together and talk about hot topics. Mavis says health is an important subject for all ages.
Members of the club will determine how it evolves. The first meeting will happen sometime in April, followed by the first seminar in May. For more information or to join, contact the Foundation directly by calling 613-258-6133 ext. 185.
