The Capital Pride festival has gone bankrupt. Organizers say the 10-day festival “has found itself in a financial situation beyond its ability to alter or repair.” After the August 2014 festival, a number of vendors came forward to complain they had not been paid. The festival brought an estimated 75,000 participants and spectators to Ottawa’s downtown core.
