Today through Friday, students in Eastern Ontario will be taking part in School Bus Safety Week. Over 800,000 Ontario children ride to school in over 18,000 school buses every day. Studies show that school buses are up to 22 times safer than passenger cars. All week long, police will also be reminding motorists of their responsibilities in keeping students and school buses safe.
