The St. Mike’s Junior Girls basketball team played host to the South Grenville Giants on Thursday. The Mustangs put forth a great effort for all four quarters but unfortunately fell to the Giants in the end, 37 to 19. Megan O’Connell led the scoring with 8 points while Rachel Young chipped in 7. Halee Preston and Lauryn MacGillivray each added a basket. Isabel Legere was a standout on defence. Both St. Michael senior and junior girls basketball teams make the short trip across Kemptville to take on North Grenville this coming Tuesday. Pictured: Isabel Legere
