Students at North Grenville District High School held a fundraising basketball game. The event took place today. Students were able to buy into the game by paying $3.
Every dollar raised will go to #DieselsArmy in support of Ryan Forbes, who was diagnosed with stage four cancer last year.
Organizer Kendra Goodall says the students wanted to help a fellow Knight. She says Forbes has done so much for the community that the students just wanted to give back to him and his family.
Goodall worked with Kayla Lamothe to organize the game. The game was sold-out, with a packed house of students in attendance to support the cause.
Goodall says they sold about 160 tickets, raising around $700 for #DieselsArmy.
