A 44-year-old Gatineau man has been charged in several sexual assaults, dating back to 2001. Daniel Marois is facing three counts of Sex Assault and two counts of Uttering Death Threats.
The first assault happened in April 2001 on Carling Avenue; the victim was 19 years old. In April 2009 a 26-year-old victim was attacked on Dalhousie and in August of 2013 a 21-year-old victim was assaulted in Ottawa. Marois is described as Caucasian with a shaved head, 6 ft tall 181lbs. He has been described in the past as having brown hair and a receding hairline. Investigators are providing this description with the hope that other victims will come forward. Marois appears in court today.
