The Upper Canada District School Board announced Tuesday that David K. Thomas is retiring from his post as Director of Education. Thomas said with a new Board being elected, it’s time for a new leadership team. Board Chair Greg Pietersma said Thomas leaves behind a legacy of a strategic plan that allows everyone in the school system to share in student success. The Board also announced today that Ms. Charlotte Patterson has been appointed Interim Director of Education effective immediately.
