The 23rd annual CIBC Run for the Cure hit Ottawa streets Sunday. More than 7,000 participants gathered at Tunney’s Pasture for the largest single-day event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research in Canada. The Run for the Cure, which featured both a 1k and 5k run, raised more than $1 million.
