The OPP Christmas Charity Barbecue brought in $872.52. The event was held yesterday at the Kemptville Detachment. Every dollar will go to the Kemptville Salvation Army.
Constable Ann Collins says the best thing was that a lot of people just came by to donate. She says they dropped off money, toys and food items for charity.
The barbecue is sponsored annually by Royal LePage. Â
Collins says donations just kept rolling in. She says people continued dropping off bags of toys even after the barbecue ended.
