The Municipality of North Grenville is hosting a public information centre. The purpose is to get feedback on the Transportation Master Plan. The open house runs from 5:00 to 7:00pm tomorrow night. It is being held at the Kemptville Fire Hall. Â
Engineering Technologist Ryan Brault says it will be a drop-in style event. He says the consultant will have different stations to see what has been done so far and people will be able to provide comments.
The municipality ran an online survey back in the spring to gather input. The consultants will look at the recommendations to see if there were concerns missed.
Brault says public consultation is the best form of feedback from the municipality’s point of view and the consultants. He says residents are the ones who will feel the impact of changes.
The goal is to finish the Transportation Master Plan early next year. It covers the transportation network of the whole community.
