O’Farrell Financial is getting Casual for a Cause. Staff members have been making donations every Friday to wear casual clothes. Casual for a Cause started in May and wrapped up at the end of August.
A total of $1,200 was raised. The money was split equally between the four hospitals where O’Farrell offices are located. Kemptville District Hospital, Winchester District Memorial Hospital, Brockville General Hospital and Cornwall Community Hospital will all benefit.
Organizer Alex Zewuster says staff wanted to do something fun in the offices to get people involved. She says this is not the first time O’Farrell has done something like this.
The money will go towards mental health services at the four hospitals.
Organizer Nicole Millest says Casual for a Cause is starting again next week and this time the focus will be on agriculture.
Casual for a Cause was organized by the social committee at O’Farrell Financial.
