On Monday morning, Darrin Busby’s mother Jacki posted on Facebook that her son has awakened from his coma. Darrin wiggled his toes and squeezed the doctor’s hand. They asked if he had pain and the young man shook his head no, giving them the thumbs up sign. Darrin’s right side is very weak and he is headed for a CT scan regarding his eyes. The twenty-year-old crashed his truck September 23rd, after working through the night. He was airlifted to hospital and spent several hours over the next two days in surgery for injuries to his head and face. He was in an induced coma but he is now awake.
