Hospice launching free spouse and partner loss program
The Beth Donovan Hospice is launching a new spouse and partner loss program.
The Beth Donovan Hospice is offering a free program for people who have lost their spouse or partner. The program runs from October 15 to December 3.
Meetings will be held at the hospice on French Settlement Road from 10:00am to 12 noon. There is no cost to participate. Executive Director Debbie Watt says the group will help people cope and adjust to the loss. She says it’s a matter of working through the grief rather than getting over it.
The program is open to anyone who has lost a spouse or partner. People can register by calling 613-258-9611 ext. 6.
Watt says the group will provide a safe and supportive environment where people can identify with one another.
