The House of Lazarus (HOL) is hosting a fundraising auction. The event is set for tomorrow night at the HOL in Mountain. Viewing starts at 3:00pm and the auction kicks off at 5:00pm. All proceeds from the event will benefit the food bank and outreach programs. The auction brought in over $4,000 last year.
Executive Director Cathy Ashby says local auctioneer Peter Ross is donating his services again this year.
A chicken barbecue will run during the event and bring in extra dollars. Tickets are $15 for the dinner.
Ashby says the auction includes a variety of items, from collectibles to antique furniture and Nascar memorabilia. The money will benefit programs like Handyman Heroes, Heat for the Holidays and Dinner on the House.
The HOL Food Bank serves people from North Dundas, South Dundas, North Grenville and South Grenville.
