Darrin Busby, who suffered severe head trauma in a single vehicle accident the morning of September 23, is now in an induced coma. The young man was found about 4 hours after the crash near Burritts Rapids and was in surgery for 5 hours. Busby had just finished working through the night when the collision happened early September 23rd but questions still remain as to what led him to crashing his vehicle. According to family Busby was scheduled for further surgery on his eye, Wednesday afternoon.
Ottawa Police will not comment as the incident remains under investigation.
