Kemptville Public School students and staff raise funds for charity

Students of Kemptville Public School were very busy on Wednesday. All students took part in their annual Terry Fox walk. The school goal is to raise $1000 for cancer research. Also, Phys. Ed. teacher Mr. Matheson spent the day teaching in his socks, as part of Right to Play’s Go Shoeless Campaign. Through playing sports and games, Right To Play helps over one million children learn to create better futures, while driving lasting social change in more than 20 countries worldwide. Matheson’s goal is to raise $200 so leaders around the world can be trained as Right to Play Coaches.
