The Veterans Annual Charity Golf Classic will be happening on August 18th and golfers can still sign up.
The tournament will be at the Nationview Golf Course on 112 Hyndman Road in South Mountain. Registration begins at 11 a-m and the classic will start at noon.
Julie O’Brien is the organizer of the event and says they have space for up to 25 teams of four.
Individual players can register for 80 dollars.
There will be a roast beef dinner and silent auction at the Legion Branch on 100 Reuben Crescent in Kemptville after the tournament.
O’Brien adds the money raised goes to people who have served in the military as well as the local community.
