It’s Humans of New York meets North Grenville. Local author Anne Walsh has started an online tribute campaign. She takes people from the community and posts what makes them great on social media. Walsh says she didn’t know the tributes would become so popular.
The campaign launched in June. Walsh began by posting a new tribute daily, but has since scaled back to weekly. The posts are put online every Monday and feature a different person from the community. Walsh says the response has been amazing.
People can check out the tributes by searching Anne Walsh on Facebook. She has a running list of people in the community she wants to recognize through the tributes.
