Colouring Night events will bring in money to buy children’s book for two local schools. The cost is $20 to participate and 100 per cent of the money goes towards new books for Holy Cross Catholic School and South Branch Elementary School. Organizer Leslie Snowdon says it’s similar to Paint Night fundraisers.
The first event is being held Tuesday night and will benefit Holy Cross Catholic School. The second Colouring Night, in support of South Branch, is set for July 25. Snowdon says one school could score some extra books.
