The Kemptville Warriors U16 boys basketball team took home a silver medal from the Provincial Cup. Teams from across the province gathered in Ottawa two weeks ago to face off on the court. Club president and coach Dennis Brookson says this is a first.
The team also won gold at the Eastern Ontario Basketball Association championship. The U16 team has 10 players, all from North Grenville and Merrickville-Wolford. Brookson says the team plans to celebrate in style.
