Police investigating dead horse in Rideau Lakes

Rideau Lakes OPP continue to investigate the discovery of a deceased animal.
On July 29th, police were called to a residence on Chantry Road after receiving the report that a horse was found dead in a field. The four year old filly had a single gunshot wound to the head.
Leeds County OPP officers as well as members of the Leeds County Crime Unit are continuing with this investigation.
